Facing the slopes of Mont Ventoux the vineyards of Vacqueyras are among the most important in the Southern Rhône valley. Based on a soil of schist and gravel they enjoy uninterrupted sunshine giving ideal ripening conditions.

Ageing Potential: 3-5 Years

Tasting Note:
Deep ruby, almost inky with developed nose of ripe plummy fruit with lots of underlying spice. Dry with firm tannin structure, lovely weight of concentrated berry fruits, almost stewed, with hints of sweet spice and beetroot. A delicious, well balanced wine with good length and finish.
