The term Crianza means that the wine has been aged for a minimum of 2 years after the harvest of which at least 6 months is in oak. This is an excellent value crianza with lovely fruit driven complexity and lots of dark berries and american oak influence giving balance and structure to the wine. This is a big wine, dark rich and mouthfilling and definitely not for the fainthearted. Typical in style and character to a good Rioja. |

This wine is intensely aromatic and full-bodied, with a profusion of flowery notes over a fruity background (very ripe peaches) and a hint of fennel.
